Worth Softball Bats.
Worth Softball Bats
Worth produces some of the top softball bats in the industry today.
They are just as, if not more, popular than the Worth line of baseball
bats. Numerous softball players have sung the praises of Worth softball
bats. They claim that once they are broke in, you can hit “bombs” with
them all day. Many players claim that these bats have more distance,
durability and sweet spot than any bat that they have ever swung. To top
it off, they’re light as well.
Worth bats are also very popular in high school and college softball
teams. The Mayhem is a popular bat and features a 100% composite shell.
The sweet spot runs the entire length of the barrel and the Pro Pebble
composite grip ensures a maximum amount of grip on the bat. These bats
are deemed to be 72% stronger than the average softball bat.
The PST is a unique Worth softball bat featuring 24% more flex and a
whiplash frame that is 30% thinner. These bats are excellent for beating
out your fellow adult softball competition.
Worth also offers the AMP for competitive fast pitch softball. This
bat is a mixture of both composite and aluminum. It features a multiple
sweet spot effect and an optimized shell. The handle is 100% composite
and tuned to flex with each bat that is designed.
Worth was founded in 1912 where they began producing horse collars
and harnesses. In 1920 they began producing baseballs and by 1927 their
baseball and softball production exceed 1,000 per day. They were so busy
they stopped producing everything else. By 1969 they were producing
wooden bats and in 1972 they designed the first one-piece aluminum bat
designed. It quickly became the official Little League aluminum bat. By
1981 their softball bats became the first official softball bat in most
leagues.
